Come on out to the Cajun Oasis annual jambalaya cook off! Whether competing or eating you’re guaranteed a great time. 

Jambalaya Cook-Off Rules 

1. All meat must be cooked on-site (Pork & Choice of Sausage)
2. Rice can be cooked off-site
3. No power will be provided
4. $40.00 entry fee per team
5. Wristband to taste test is $5.00. A People’s Choice Award ticket will be included with each band purchased. Extra tickets to vote will be $1.
6. 1st Place –   9qt. Dutch Oven & Embroidered Apron
   2nd Place – 6qt. Dutch Oven & Embroidered Apron
   3rd Place –  4qt. Dutch Oven & Embroidered Apron
7. People’s Choice – 30″ Mixing Paddle and 40″Mixing Spoon
8. All entries will be numbered
9. Each team provides their own container for People’s Choice Ticket
10. People’s Choice Tickets will be picked up 30 minutes before winners are announced
11. Start cooking at 9:00 am and turn in at 1:00 pm
12. Karaoke Contest starting at 3:00 pm
13. Team – 1 to 4 people
